Ukraine 600 soldiers killed

A Russian assertion that an attack killed hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers has been termed

Without providing evidence, Moscow claimed that over 600 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in a “mass missile strike” in the eastern city of Kramatorsk.

It said that it was in reaction to a New Year’s Day Ukrainian strike on a Russian base that killed scores of Russian servicemen.

However, the Ukrainian military argues that this is incorrect.

Serhiy Cherevaty, a Ukrainian army spokesperson, told the media, “This is another another piece of Russian misinformation.”

According to Russia’s defense ministry, a hit on buildings temporarily housing Ukrainian personnel resulted in the deaths of around 600 Ukrainian servicemen. According to estimates from Moscow, more than 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers were kept in two buildings.
