An unidentified metallic object washes up on the shores of Japan

An unidentified sphere-shaped metallic object has washed up on a beach in Japan. Media reported that it was a white sphere with a diameter of 1.5 meters.

Japanese authorities have not yet identified what kind of object it is. The beach area where it was piled up has now been designated as a restricted area preventing entry to the general public.
