Nguyen Xuan Phuc

The Vietnamese President, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, has resigned.

He was reportedly charged with numerous high-level corruption schemes, according to foreign media.

According to foreign media reports, the 68-year-old Phuc entered politics at the provincial level in 1979 and held the position of Prime Minister of Vietnam from 2016 to 2021.
