7.3 magnitude earthquake hits Tajikistan

A magnitude 7.3 earthquake has struck near the Chinese border in Tajikistan. Media reported that another magnitude 5 aftershock was also reported 20 minutes after the earthquake.

The tremors of the earthquake, which occurred at a distance of 82 kilometers from the Chinese border towards Tajikistan, have also been felt in the western parts of the Xiangjing region.
