Without a speaker

The inability to elect a Speaker to the American Parliament has resulted in a major crisis in the country’s politics.

The reason for this is that Kevin McCarthy, the Republican Party’s nominee for Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, has been defeated for the sixth time.

In order to be elected Speaker of the American Parliament, a candidate must get 2018 votes. But McCarthy has almost 200 votes to give 06 opportunities. Foreign media reported that twenty representatives of the Republican Party voted against McCarthy.

According to foreign reports, the work of the Congress did not start until a speaker was elected.

The Democratic Party, represented by current President Joe Biden, lost the majority of the American Parliament in the mid-term elections held last year. While the Democratic Party got 213 votes, the Republican Party, representing former President Donald Trump, got 222 votes.
