earthquake in Indonesia

A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia off the Tanimbar Islands.

According to Reuters, the earthquake struck at about 2:47 a.m. local time today (10).

Because of the magnitude of the earthquake, the Indonesian Disaster Agency issued a tsunami warning.

However, since no significant change in the sea level was reported, the tsunami warning has been lifted.

Foreign media reported that four aftershocks were reported after the earthquake.

It has also been felt in parts of northern Australia.

According to sources, the earthquake destroyed structures across the nation.
According to the Indonesian Disaster Agency, the entire scope of the earthquake’s damage is still being analyzed.
